Saturday, May 14 Wild Edibles with Joan Joan Jacobowski has been foraging for a major part of her diet for over 40 years. She will share tips for safe harvesting, including: identification, contamination, look-alikes, sustainable harvest, and allergic reactions. You?ll learn to identify, harvest, and prepare five common plants; gain hands-on experience; and taste test a variety of wild edibles. A light lunch will be provided.
