Saturday, February 27 Winter Tree ID at the NGLVC (Adult Naturalist Program) Learning to identify trees without leaves is like learning to read a new language. Naturalist Emily Stone will go over the skills indoors, then move outdoors for hands-on experience. The beauty is in the details! Meet at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center in Ashland, WI, at 1:00 p.m. and return by 3:00 p.m. Dress for the weather. Snowshoes may be borrowed from the NGLVC, if needed. Space is limited. $5 per person. Register by February 26, by calling the NGLVC at 715-685-9983.
