Northwoods Strings

NorthWoods Strings (NWS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a musical community by providing individual string instrument lessons, ensembles, and performance opportunities on the violin, viola, cello, and bass to children and adults in rural Northwestern Wisconsin.

NorthWoods Strings (NWS) has been providing educational music opportunities in the greater Hayward area since 2004. In addition to private lessons, NWS offers recitals, old time jam sessions, ensembles, community service concerts at assisted living facilities and more for string players enrolled in the program.
