Namekagon Transit provides public transportation services in Sawyer, Washburn, Barron and Southern Bayfield Counties, and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation.
We offer mobility management services for transportation needs outside of our regular service areas.
Namekagon Transit was established in 1998 as a shuttle system for the Lac Courte Oreilles Casino. The LCO Casino remains the transfer hub for our deviated fixed route service, but we have expanded to meet the needs of Northwest Wisconsin.
Namekagon Transit operates its program, services and activities in compliance with federal nondiscrimination laws. No person shall, on the basis of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), disability, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any of our programs.
Namekagon Transit complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other related nondiscrimination statutes.
